Tide: It belongs to irregular semi diurnal tide, with an average tidal range of 1.72 meters, a maximum tidal range of 2.98 meters, an average high tide interval of 02 hours and 27 minutes, an average low tide interval of 08 hours and 15 minutes, an average height of 2.46 meters, an average low tide height of 0.86 meters, and an average sea surface of 1.66 meters,
Tide: The rising tide in the harbor is the northwest current, and the falling tide is the southeast current. The flow velocity in the inner harbor pool is less than 0.5 knots: the flow velocity in the outer harbor is 1-2 knots. The rising tide near the port flows northward and northwestward with a velocity of 0.9 knots. The ebb tide flows towards the northeast, with a flow rate of 1 knot. On both sides of the west end of the southwest end of the island, the ebb tide flows southward and the ebb tide flows northward.
(2) Meteorology
Temperature: The annual average temperature is 11.8 ℃, with a maximum temperature of 37 ℃ and a minimum temperature of 15 ℃;
Precipitation: Annual average precipitation of 860 millimeters; Wind condition: The wind condition is normal to the north with a frequency of 17%, the secondary normal wind direction is northwest to the north with a frequency of 15%, and the strong wind is northeast to the north. The monsoon characteristics are obvious, with more northeast and northwest winds in winter and autumn, more southwest winds in spring, and more southeast winds in summer. Fog: The average number of foggy days per year is 52.7 days, mostly concentrated in April to July, accounting for 75% of the zero days per year. The highest number of foggy days per year is 79 days, and the lowest number of zero days per year is 29 days. There are more zero days per year in May, June, and July
Ice condition: Shidao New Port is a non freezing port, and in some years there may be floating ice in the port, which has no impact on navigation.
