Shidao New Port Co., Ltd. is located at the easternmost point of the Shandong Peninsula - Rongcheng Shidao, facing South Korea and Japan across the sea, and is the closest place in China to South Korea. This place has been inhabited since the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, and became an important commercial port along the eastern coast during the Sui and Tang dynasties.
