Xiamen Container Transport Cooperation Platform Passes Acceptance Inspection

On the afternoon of July 12th, the Xiamen International Container Transport Cooperation Platform (X-Service Platform) project, developed and constructed by Xiamen Ocean Shipping Agency Co., Ltd. with independent intellectual property rights, successfully passed the expert group's acceptance.

Xiamen Foreign Agency has been independently developing this platform since 2003, with a total investment of 4.86 million yuan. The project was approved by the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau in 2006 and received support of 400000 yuan in scientific and technological innovation funds. At present, the application software of the system platform has obtained software registration from the National Copyright Administration. Through the construction of Xiamen Port International Container Transport Information Platform, Xiamen Foreign Agency continuously integrates internal information systems, optimizes business processes, and gradually builds a series of electronic operation systems for international container export transportation: electronic loading, electronic pre declaration, self-service equipment handover form, electronic booking, and electronic bill of lading verification system. At present, the proportion of electronic loading applications has reached 95%, the proportion of electronic pre declaration applications has reached 93%, and the proportion of self-service equipment handover forms has reached 85%. The number of users using this platform for ship owners, freight forwarding companies, and container transportation companies exceeds 3800.

This platform breaks the traditional manual operation mode of container transportation information transmission in Xiamen Port, and achieves high-speed transmission and sharing of information through seamless connection of electronic information, realizing the full electronic operation of ship agency processes such as loading, declaration, EIR issuance, etc. This platform promotes collaboration among various roles such as ship owners, ship agents, freight forwarding companies, container transportation companies, stations, and terminals, and integrates their respective business information flows to form an integrated port logistics solution.
