The trial operation of the third phase of the Shidao New Port terminal held its first ship departure ceremony

On August 27, 2015, the maiden voyage ceremony of the trial operation of the third phase of Shidao New Port Terminal was successfully held with the accompaniment of firecrackers. A 16000 ton bulk cargo ship safely berthed at a 100000 ton general berth under the escort of a 4000 ton horsepower tugboat at the port. Three 40 ton gantry cranes simultaneously picked up the cargo and landed it in the hold, marking the entry of Shidao New Port into a 10000 ton large-scale terminal, which is the only comprehensive port in Rongcheng.
