As of 16:00 on June 28th, the throughput of Qingdao Port has exceeded 130 million tons, and the container throughput has exceeded 4.5 million boxes.
The data shows that the daily throughput of the port is now equal to the total throughput in 1949, and the monthly throughput is equal to the total throughput in the 1980s. Qingdao Port has not had any new terminals put into operation for five consecutive years. With a throughput capacity of 100 million tons, it plans to achieve a throughput of 260 million tons this year. The cargo throughput per second has increased by 1.3 tons compared to the average of 7.1 tons in 2006, with 8.4 tons of cargo entering and leaving Qingdao Port every second.
This year, the 1320 meter wharf shoreline on the south bank of the former Dubai Bay has been unified and developed by Qingdao Port. With the strong lineup of the new Three Kingdoms and Four Directions, the development prospects of the port are even more promising
