On June 23rd, Shekou Container Terminal (SCT) welcomed another new shipping route ABX (Asia Black Sea Line), bringing the total number of international liner shipping routes at the terminal to 56. This route operated by the Grand Alliance has a total of 8 3000TEU container ships in operation, which dock at SCT every Saturday. The order of ports of call is: Singapore Shanghai Ningbo Shekou Singapore Daremita Istanbul Konstancha Odessa Iliirevsky Izmir Daremita.
The members of the Grand Alliance include Hapag Lloyd, Japan Post, Orient Overseas, and Malaysia International Shipping.
