Shidao New Port International Shipping Express Supervision Center approved

Recently, with strong support from the Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, and relevant departments, the Qingdao Customs approved the construction of the Shidao New Port International Express Supervision Center. After three months of construction, it has been officially completed and passed the acceptance inspection.

The International Express Supervision Center is an important part of the construction of the East China Land Sea Passenger and Freight Logistics Center project. It has invested in the most advanced intelligent CT inspection equipment, fully automatic intelligent sorting equipment, cargo inspection X-ray machines, portal nuclear radiation detection equipment, and related detection equipment and facilities. It is a customs supervision center that uses high-tech, fully information-based, and intelligent supervision methods. This project not only plays a radiating and driving role for Rongcheng Port, but also serves as a link between China, Japan, and South Korea's rapid maritime logistics. It is also an important platform for our city to build a new highland of opening up to the outside world, creating new momentum for foreign service trade. It will further enrich the logistics industry at Rongcheng Port, attract foreign investment, bring about new logistics models, new regulatory processes, and comprehensive development of international trade and new business models. Provide pioneering experience for the innovation pilot of our city's foreign service trade.
The East China Land Sea Passenger and Freight Logistics Center is an important open passenger and freight logistics hub project created by our city to leverage the advantages of the China Korea Free Trade Zone and port location development. As of now, the construction of the China South Korea land sea intermodal transportation channel, the upgrading of China South Korea's largest passenger roll on/roll off ship, the construction of China's fastest China Japan Korea sea freight express and customs express supervision center project have been successfully completed.
