Dongying, Shandong invests 200 million yuan to build a railway logistics terminal

Recently, the Dongying West Suburb Railway Logistics Center, which was built with an investment of 200 million yuan in Dongying District, Dongying City, has entered a substantial stage of development. It is fully committed to building a railway land terminal and constructing the largest commodity and goods distribution center and transit station in Dongying City.

Dongying District is a transportation hub in Dongying City, with the national railway Dongzhang Railway passing through the area, the 228 Provincial Highway running north-south, and the 220 National Highway running east-west. With obvious transportation advantages, it has formed a modern industrial system mainly composed of petrochemical, new building materials, rubber products, and warehousing logistics industries. Dongying District will rely on the construction of the Dongying West Suburb Railway Logistics Center and invest 200 million yuan within the year to complete the construction of two railway lines and supporting facilities such as freight yards and storage bases, achieving a cargo throughput of 10 million tons and a profit and tax of 20 million yuan. Dongying District plans to use 5 years to build the Dongying West Suburb Railway Logistics Center into a large-scale comprehensive logistics park covering an area of 800 acres with an annual throughput of 60 million tons. It integrates functions such as raw material supply, coal and refined oil transportation, and bulk material distribution, with a focus on promoting logistics in production areas and regions, supplemented by international logistics, and covering the entire Yellow River Delta
